A NOTE TO PARENTS AND GUARDIANS

While the week's assignments are posted each Monday, structure and pacing is important for your children to retain information! If your schedule allows you to complete assignments one day at a time according to this schedule, the daily schedule will work for you. If you are an essential worker and cannot work with your child until later in the day, I completely understand - a flexible weekly schedule may work best for you. Posting the daily assignments for the week is for your benefit. You may help your child work through the assignments as you need to in order to help your child through the material.

TUESDAY, MAY 26

These are our top 3 players on Happy Numbers.

Lia B. played for 111 minutes! Wow!

Katelyn played for 96 minutes!

Reagan played for 94 minutes!

Good job, everyone!

Attendance

Belongings Pick-Up

  • Don't forget to pick up your summer treat and anything that was left over in the classroom at 1:00 PM today!

Religion

  • This file was sent by email/on ClassDojo.

  • Choose three projects to complete from the tic-tac-toe board. They must be in a row going across, up and down, or diagonal, as if you were winning tic-tac-toe. You will complete 3 boxes by June 5. Have mom or dad send a picture of your projects when you are done.

Math

  • Play on Happy Numbers for 15-20 minutes. I will be checking on your progress for a grade! Our goal this week is at least 60 minutes total.

Grammar

  • Complete p. 212-213.

Reading

Star of the Week Make-Ups

  • I know many of you did not get to make your Star of the Week poster and show off your three special items! Inside your bag of leftover things that you will get from me, I put a poster if you did not get your turn. Work on your poster any time. When you are finished, whether it's before school ends or after, have mom or dad take a picture of your poster and your three things you want to share (or a video if you want to be ambitious!), and I will share them for everyone to see.

End of the Year Memory Book Project (due May 29)

  • This was sent to you on ClassDojo/attached to the daily email. Print back-to-back and staple. Fill in and finally color.

  • You will share your memory books in small groups during the weekly Zoom meeting on May 29!
