Watch the video:

Today is the start of a very holy weekend. Tomorrow is Holy Thursday, the first of the Triduum, or Three Holy Days before Easter. Today you are going to watch a Brother Francis DVD called He is Risen! Brother Francis will tell you the story about Holy Week and why we celebrate Easter, the Resurrection of Jesus.

Activity:

You learned that Jesus is the Light of the World. He died and rose for us so now we can be the Light of Christ to others. We do this by praying and doing acts of kindness to others. Please do the following steps after watching the video.

  1. Think about ways that you can be the Light of Christ in your home.

  2. Draw a picture that shows you being the Light of Christ.

  3. Hang the picture on your refrigerator or in your room.

  4. Each time you act as the Light of Christ, draw a star on the picture.

ART LESSON:

At 1:00 PM, our class will meet on Zoom to do a guided drawing of an Easter Bunny! You will need a pencil, crayons, markers, or colored pencils, and drawing paper. That's it! For privacy reasons, Ms. Dallas will email all parents the meeting code the morning of.
